Over four weeks, you'll develop your painting from the ground up—starting with sketching and composition, before exploring tonal underpainting, colour theory, and palette selection. As your confidence grows, you'll build your painting in layers while learning to simplify shapes, mix harmonious colours, and make expressive brushstrokes. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to loosen up their painting style, this course is all about enjoying the process, trusting your instincts, and discovering that sometimes less detail creates a more compelling painting. All materials are provided. Please wear clothes you are happy to get paint on (or bring an apron).
